At BusyLy, your privacy is our priority. We do not sell or track your data. Your information remains under your control. However, certain data must be processed for BusyLy to function properly, such as when downloading the app or using premium features.

Below, we outline the personal data processed when using BusyLy and how we handle this data.

Data Processed When...

Downloading BusyLy

When downloading BusyLy, some information may be processed by the respective app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store), such as your username or email address. This data is exclusively handled by the app store and is beyond our control.

Using BusyLy

BusyLy allows you to input, manage, and edit various tasks, reminders, and activities. Your entries may include personal data such as names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. This data is stored locally on your device unless you enable BusyLy Cloud Sync or iCloud Sync.

If syncing is enabled, data processing is solely used to sync tasks between your devices.

Using iCloud Sync

BusyLy’s iCloud sync relies on Apple Inc.’s services. By enabling iCloud sync, you agree to Apple’s Terms and Conditions and Data Processing Agreement. Any data you enter, such as tasks, reminders, and calendar events, will be stored and synced through iCloud.

Using BusyLy Cloud Sync

BusyLy Cloud Sync utilizes an external service provider (e.g., Supabase Inc.). When enabling BusyLy Cloud Sync, we will request your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of this service.

We process:

• Your email address (to sync tasks across devices).

• Task-related data, including reminders, settings, and calendar events.

Using the AI-Powered Smart Planner

BusyLy’s AI-powered smart planner uses an external AI service (e.g., OpenAI LP) to enhance scheduling and task automation.

• When using AI-based suggestions, your input is sent to our AI provider’s servers to generate responses.

• The data processed may include task details, reminders, and calendar events.

• This data may be temporarily stored for up to 30 days to improve the AI functionality.

• AI services do not have access to your private calendar or stored events unless explicitly inputted by you.

Sharing Anonymous Analytics

To improve BusyLy and detect potential issues, we collect limited and anonymous analytics data. This data does not personally identify you.

• Anonymous analytics can be disabled in the app settings: Settings > Privacy & Permissions > Anonymous Analytics > Disable Analytics.

Donating Data for Research & Development

If you opt into data donation, we process your task-related data to enhance BusyLy’s AI-based functionalities. This data donation is voluntary and disabled by default.

To enable or disable data donation:

• Settings > Privacy & Permissions > Donate Your Data > Enable/Disable.

Sharing Diagnostic Data

If you encounter an issue, we may request diagnostic data to troubleshoot. This data includes:

• Encrypted task titles.

• Your BusyLy User ID (to verify your subscription status).

• System logs related to notifications, syncing, and settings.

Diagnostic data is used solely for problem resolution and is never shared with third parties.
